Junior Achievement Uganda Exhibition Day Departmental showcasing of products |

On Friday, 17th October, Don Bosco Vocational Training Center Palabek proudly hosted the Junior Achievement Uganda Exhibition and Product Showcase, marking another successful edition of an event that has become a key part of the institution’s annual calendar. Building on the success of last year’s exhibition, this year’s event once again brought together students, instructors, and partners from Junior Achievement Uganda to celebrate creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship across all departments. The initiative was made possible through the generous funding support from JUGEND EINE WELT (Austria), whose continued partnership has greatly contributed to empowering young people with skills and opportunities for self-reliance.

The exhibition provided a vibrant platform for trainees to display the products they had created through practical training in tailoring, carpentry, mechanics, agriculture, and ICT. Each department showcased impressive and marketable items that reflected both technical competence and entrepreneurial thinking. The event offered students hands-on experience in product design, pricing, and customer interaction—helping them bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world enterprise.

Compared to last year’s edition, which introduced many students to the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, this year’s exhibition showed remarkable progress in product quality, innovation, and presentation, demonstrating how consistent training and mentorship can translate into tangible outcomes. The atmosphere was lively and inspiring, with visitors, partners, and evaluators appreciating the creativity and confidence of the young innovators.

The Junior Achievement Uganda Exhibition 2025, supported by JUGEND EINE WELT, reaffirmed Don Bosco Palabek’s mission of transforming lives through skills training and entrepreneurship. By nurturing practical talent and a business mindset, the center continues to prepare youth not only for employment but to become job creators and agents of change within their communities.
