Guided by the Salesian motto “Go and make disciples of all nations,” the group focuses on spiritual growth and outreach within the settlement and surrounding communities.
Youth Animation Activities
At Don Bosco Palabek Refugee Settlement, youth animation activities play a vital role in nurturing talents, promoting unity, and strengthening the spiritual and social life of young people. These activities are organized under the Salesian spirit of education through faith, culture, and creativity, helping the youth grow into responsible, confident, and community-oriented individuals.The Missionary Group inspires young people to live out their faith in action. Members engage in outreach programs, catechism, and service to others, promoting values of love, peace, and solidarity. Through prayer gatherings, visits to vulnerable families, and participation in parish liturgical celebrations, the missionary youth become true witnesses of hope and charity.
The Animators Group consists of trained youth leaders who guide and motivate others in spiritual, educational, and recreational programs. They organize and lead activities such as Sunday oratory, games, youth camps, retreats, and moral formation sessions. Their role is to ensure that all young people are actively engaged and that every activity carries an educational and faith-based message in the Salesian style.
